Canada to Increase Capacity of Oil Storage Hubs up to 25% by 2013There is a major expansion to boost storage capacity by about 25 percent to add an estimated 9 Million Barrel to the Canadian Crude Oil Hubs in Alberta, Edmonton (around 6.6 MB) with current capacity of 11 MB and Hardisty, where TransCanada Corp is to add storage capacity but volume of storage capacity is not yet disclosed.

Oil sands crude production in Alberta is expected to double from 1.8 Million Barrel Per Day in 2012 to 3.22 MBPD by 2020.The increase in storage capacity in crude oil hubs, Hardisty and Edmonton will enhance the trading of oil sand crude production.
