Barrack Obama, President of the United States, has promised that he will not let his economic recovery efforts set stage for the next economic bubble.
Obama has dedicated his time to campaigning against “artificial bubbles”. It has been reported that the economy grew by 1.7 per cent during the second quarter. Despite that factory usage and employment are still below the pre-recession highs. During the President’s weekly radio address, he said: “We have to turn the page on the bubble-and-bust mentality that created this mess.”
A number of Republicans and Pacific Investment Management have criticized the role of Federal Reserve in fuelling potential bubbles. Despite that, President Obama has always praised the Fed Chair for his outstanding performance.
